I know Christmas is still about 3 months from now, but here in the Philippines, once the month ends with the word "BER" it would really be the start for the preparation for the Christmas holidays. I guess we Filipinos are the only ones so giddy about preparing for Christmas. We set up the Christmas tree during November and even christmas light are now available and can be brought. For us, Christmas is an occasion that we all get excited with. We are even more excited with Christmas rather than our own birthdays. Also one thing that really shows how we are so excited with christmas is that christmas songs are already played on the radio. =)

Here are some photos of our newly bought "parol" or Christmas Lantern. My mom bought it at Pampanga, Manila when she had a meeting there. I can't believe she brought it all the way here to Davao on her flight back home. The package was pretty huge. Can't imagine her carrying such load all the way to the airport. hehe.

I'll upload more when I get to go downtown. Haven't gone to downtown yet to see if they already assembled Christmas lights or lanterns or anything. hehe. :) Can't wait for the Christmas holidays. Yipeeeeee!
