I admit that I have been hooking myself up with a few Korean movies that either made my heart melt of my heart jump with joy. But either of these two reactions, I'm starting to fall in love with Korean movies. It's not because of the attractive chinky-eyed actors, but its about the storyline of their movies. I had been watching a lot of English and Philippine movies but the storyline of the Korean flicks are way more intense. The love story may either end up happily just like fairy tale books or might even end up as a tragedy wherein a major character dies, which really does happen all the time. I can't help but cry, cry and cry over the movie. That's why I love it because it's heart-felt. Right? :)
This is the first Korean movie that I saw that made my
cry a bucket of tears. The movie is entitled "NOW and FOREVER".
The girl in the movie has an amazing energy to sneak out of the
hospital and go to certain places with the guy. She has this heart
ailment (i guess) and sooner or later, she's going to die. The guy
also has a brain tumor and he's also going to die soon. Though, the
girl was the one who died first and the part that touched me the most
is the part wherein the guy was sitting under their "love tree" and he
suddenly received a video message from the girl. The girl is already dead
but she set her phone to send the message to a time wherein he would
get it as soon as she was already dead. She actually left a thank you
message for him and it was very heart warming. After reading it, the guy
suddenly collapsed and died.
